Untitled 4-Pointed Star - Mary Ann Logston

AR.00027 Traditional Quilt Makers in New Mexico Survey

Untitled 4-Pointed Star by Mary Ann Logston. .AR.00027: Traditional Quilt Makers in New Mexico Survey Project. FIELD NOTES: Pieced by Mary Ann Logston, Martha Denney's sister-in-law who lives in Kentucky, this 4-pointed star is a pattern she has known since the 30's. It was quilted at the shop. Martha Denney says this is a tedious pattern because of all the little pieces; it can be pieced out of "all kinds of little scraps." It always has the scalloped edge.
